Gilgamesh, A Hero??

This is my opinion if Gilgamesh is a hero or not. I think no because when I read the story, I didn't see anything heroic about him. Also, he was a king and part god, which means that he's like a boss to everyone, kind of like a bully. Furthermore, when I keep reading it says that the people didn't appreciate him, like when he goes to the cedar forest, the people were so happy that he left. When I keep reading the story of him, he saved the land of his people, but that didn't make him a true hero. Sure he saved the town of Urak, but that was the only thing that he did to be so heroic. Overall of this question, I believe that he's not a hero.

What I think the message of the story of Gilgamesh

This is what I think the message of the story Gilgamesh mean. What I think that it means that believing someone or something that you can imagine, can help you in life someday. What I also think it means that making one of these epics can entertain people and can lead to a career like Lopez Tonight. Furthermore, I think that it means a way to show you how it feels to be a king or a god. In fact, some of these kind of stories can encourage someone to believe to get the success they need. And finally, I think that it explains that stories can be fun and not to be so boring all the time. Anyways, that is what I think the message of the story of Gilgamesh mean.

Gilgamesh, True Hero

Gilgamesh, you might think of a hero, but let me tell you a story of the one-and-only, Gilgamesh. He was a ruler to a city name Urak which is now Mesopotamia, which is close to one of the two rivers which is the Euphrates. He was a god and a human, that's when Enkidu comes in. Enkidu was sent from the gods above to take down Gilgamesh, but that wasn't successful. Gilgamesh kept fighting and fighting to Enkidu, and finally they stop because they were both equal in fighting. When it was over, they became friends because they were both strong. Than one day, they were really bored so Gilgamesh decided to go out to an adventure with Enkidu to get some wood from the cedar forest. The wood can make a lot of stuff with it. When they came back, the crowd went cheering for them because they return. Then life goes on with Gilgamesh.
