Apollo

----I was most beautiful of the gods. Everything was gold for me. My hair, clothes, bow, arrows, horse, and my chariot. I later became patron of music, poetry, mathematics, and medicine. My mother, Leto, and my father, Zeus name me Apollo. My only sibling is Artemis which she is really cool. My sister is the goddess of the hunt, forests and hills, and the moon. I married a beautiful girl name Coronis and I live all my life with her. Now, Zeus is a really powerful god and so is my mother which means they have a lot of daughters and sons. After four days of my birth, Hera sent a python to kill my mother. In order to protect my mother, I had to beg Hephaestus for a bow and arrows. When I receive them, I cornered the Python and killed with my arrow. That wasn't all because Hera sent the giant Tityos to kill my mother. The monster was to strong so luckily my father came to the rescue and throw the monster down to Tartarus, otherwise known were Hades live. As years go by, I started to cure the sick and wounded. A lot of the goddess liked me because I played the Lyre. If I had to say one thing about my life, it would be that it's great.

"The Gift of the Nile River"

As gorgeous as it sounds, the Nile river guided life to Egypt and allowed it to thrive for a very long time. It begins in central Africa and runs north through Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea. What made a gift that the river made rich soil to produce lots of crops in the delta. Once the gift has been open, Egypt started to farm. They made lots of food so they can live in the desert alive. When time pass by, scattered farms grew into villages and then even cities as well. The river was very important to them that without the river, a lot of things would not have exist to make Egypt a civilization.
