A New Version of Orpheus
---Καλωσόρισες. Το Όνομά Μου Είναι Orpheus( Hello. My name is Orpheus). I am living in 2010 A.D after that tragic situation between me and my wife, Eurydice. It all started when I was playing guitar with my band. Once my song was over, there was this one girl that thought my song was amazing. We started to love each other until there was this other band across the street. We walked to my house so I can sing her some songs, but suddenly she tripped over a rock and went to a comma. I saw her body lying on the ground and picked her up, then we rushed to the hospital. The doctor said that we need to pay 500 dollars to get her back to life. I said,"that's to much doctor". I investigated the place she had the comma and found out the attempted-murderer finger print. His house was in Washington Street so I knocked the door and saw a gun in his hand. I took the gun out of his hand and called 9.1.1. He said," don't shoot, I'll do anything". I said," did you tried to kill my girlfriend?". He said," yes I tried". Soon 9.1.1 came and took the culprit away. In court, he paid 500 dollars which was enough to pay Eurydice to live. Sadly, once she started breathing, she started dying. Τα τέλη(The End).

Julius Caesar
---Julius Caesar was a very sophisticated man who played a critical role in the transformation of the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire. What made him a very huge important role to the the Roman Republic was he was a superior leader in the army. Before he was a dictator, Rome's society was awfully terrible. Caesar sought the office in 60B.C. Julius was after Crassus and Pompey because they were the leaders of the war against the slave revolt. His army was outrageously victorious that captured most of western Europe which made him popular of the battlefield. As his army seized control in Italy while Pompey's men flee to Greece. Soon, Caesar men defeated Pompey's army. Cowardly, Pompey flee and went to Egypt which was a bad decision. Soon as Caesar arrived, King Ptolemy XIII gave Caesar a fantastic surprise, Pompey's decapitated head. As he returned to Rome, the people loved him as a war hero and a great leader. Then later in 46B.C, he became a dictator because of his marvelous actions. Sadly, senators were so angry that 60 of them, stabbed Julius Caesar to death.

My Favorite Greek Thinker
---Plato was my favorite philosopher because I think he was one of the most famous and educated thinker of all time. Plato was a very important thinker because his social structure theory had a governing class, warriors, and workers. Furthermore, his work still influences how people think about politics which most people are doing now in America. What also made him very important to me is that from one of his Socratic Dialogue, The Republic, describes his ideal type of government where very wise men can rule. Plato is a very great philosopher as my choice to this concept.

Hector
---The battle of troy was gruesome for Hector. Hector did not did the write thing because Achilles was to powerful and because his army was already fleeing. What I think was the reason he wanted to fight Achilles was that it might win the war of Troy. If I was him, I would flee so I will tell my men to counter-attack Achilles man from the wall.

The Myth of Osiris
---My name is Osiris. I am the Egyptian god of the underworld. Not only I was a merciful judge of the dead in the afterlife, but also the underworld agency that granted all life, including sprout vegetation and the fertile flooding of the Nile River. But before I became the god of the underworld, I will tell you how I became the Egyptian god the underworld, my death, and the resurrection of myself. It all started when I was born, my parents were Geb and Nut. You may know them as Geb, the god of the Earth, and Nut, the goddess of the sky. My siblings were Isis, Set, Nephthys, and Horus. You'll probably know them as Isis, the goddess of motherhood, magic, and fertility, Set, the god of storms, chaos, and the desert, Nephthys, the goddess of the Night and Lamentation, and Horus, the god of the king, the sky, and vengeance. But the sibling I hated the most was Set because this is what caused my death. Set envied my power and my popularity by sending me in a coffin. I tried to get out of the coffin but it was seal with lead. Set led the coffin too adrift in the Nile River. But luckily, my wife Isis, which is also my sibling, she tracked down my coffin and she returned it to Egypt. My brother, Set, got so angry he cut the body in to pieces and scattered across Egypt. But Isis found the pieces, made wax copies of them so it will be worshiped in a temple. She preserved my body with linen and bandages; she breathed life back to me. I stand up with pride and I later became as god of the underworld and my skin was green to symbolize my rebirth. My apprentice was a jackal-headed god of cemeteries and embalming and his name was Anubis. As I walk the underworld, I will still be the god of the underworld.

Apollo
----I was most beautiful of the gods. Everything was gold for me. My hair, clothes, bow, arrows, horse, and my chariot. I later became patron of music, poetry, mathematics, and medicine. My mother, Leto, and my father, Zeus name me Apollo. My only sibling is Artemis which she is really cool. My sister is the goddess of the hunt, forests and hills, and the moon. I married a beautiful girl name Coronis and I live all my life with her. Now, Zeus is a really powerful god and so is my mother which means they have a lot of daughters and sons. After four days of my birth, Hera sent a python to kill my mother. In order to protect my mother, I had to beg Hephaestus for a bow and arrows. When I receive them, I cornered the Python and killed with my arrow. That wasn't all because Hera sent the giant Tityos to kill my mother. The monster was to strong so luckily my father came to the rescue and throw the monster down to Tartarus, otherwise known were Hades live. As years go by, I started to cure the sick and wounded. A lot of the goddess liked me because I played the Lyre. If I had to say one thing about my life, it would be that it's great.

"The Gift of the Nile River"
As gorgeous as it sounds, the Nile river guided life to Egypt and allowed it to thrive for a very long time. It begins in central Africa and runs north through Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea. What made a gift that the river made rich soil to produce lots of crops in the delta. Once the gift has been open, Egypt started to farm. They made lots of food so they can live in the desert alive. When time pass by, scattered farms grew into villages and then even cities as well. The river was very important to them that without the river, a lot of things would not have exist to make Egypt a civilization.
