Julius Caesar

---Julius Caesar was a very sophisticated man who played a critical role in the transformation of the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire. What made him a very huge important role to the the Roman Republic was he was a superior leader in the army. Before he was a dictator, Rome's society was awfully terrible. Caesar sought the office in 60B.C. Julius was after Crassus and Pompey because they were the leaders of the war against the slave revolt. His army was outrageously victorious that captured most of western Europe which made him popular of the battlefield. As his army seized control in Italy while Pompey's men flee to Greece. Soon, Caesar men defeated Pompey's army. Cowardly, Pompey flee and went to Egypt which was a bad decision. Soon as Caesar arrived, King Ptolemy XIII gave Caesar a fantastic surprise, Pompey's decapitated head. As he returned to Rome, the people loved him as a war hero and a great leader. Then later in 46B.C, he became a dictator because of his marvelous actions. Sadly, senators were so angry that 60 of them, stabbed Julius Caesar to death.
