Trouble in Mesopotamian

We in Mesopotamia have many sorts of problems on the land. Our land is hot and our water keeps drying out. We also have floods which cause a lot of distruction. Our people die and sometimes they get disease with the dirty water. When we get a dry out, we get really hydrated and the flash flood wipe us out in the city.

  1. Well, then why don't you build levees? They are mud walls that prevent flooding. And if both rivers dry out then why don't you try migrating to some other place?

  2. You should build leeves and canals. With that you could build an irrigation system. To not get dirty water you need to clean out the silt.Any piece of that silt cuold ruin the whole irrigation system. You can't change the weather so I suggest that you migrate somewhere else.If you don't build an irrigation system you won't have water. Those are your soluyions.Marilyn Araujo http://www.waterencyclopedia.com/Hy-La/Irrigation-Systems-Ancient.html
